I'll hold judgment and watch it when the remake comes out. The script does have interesting ideas and I do think the best remakes tackle the old material by putting new spins on it. As long as the remake is better than the last three Highlander films, I'll be happy.

Are we raising the bar by thinking the remake needs to be as good as original? Yes. The best way is to see the final film and then compare the two.
