HARRY POTTER AND THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD

I watched HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS and HOUSE OF THE DEAD. I'll comment on CHAMBER OF SECRETS later, but I have to say HOUSE OF THE DEAD is the most ineptly directed movie I have ever watched. Uwe Boll has the inanity to insert footage from the video game in the movie (especially during battle scenes).

This movie would have had one of the best ever fight against the dead scenes if it wasn't for the turntable camera effects and inserting clips from the video game. It is even worse when the first two deleted scenes would have helped the first 30 minutes (and all one gets is two sets of naked breasts and a horrible script that slugs along). Jurgen Prochnow plays Captain Kirk (dressed in attire simillar to one of the outfits he wore in DAS BOOT). Sadly, Kirk bites the dust and we're left with crappy guy who does one of the worse voice-over narrations at the beginning which spoils the whole story. Una Grauer and her two assests are a welcome addition to this movie, but painfully she has done better acting in other movies (and guest star spots on TV shows).

Can I blame Mark Altman for the really bad script? Yes (since he wrote it and is the same person who ruined Sci-Fi Universe (after editing some fine issues)). Can I blame Uwe Boll for a bad movie? Yep, he forgets to direct and just wants to play with some toys.
